About Us
Six Guns Entertainment is dedicated to authentically portraying the American West.
Through out my childhood years I had always wanted to be a cowboy.
Watching re-runs of Bonanza, The Rifle Man and The Lone Ranger fueled my desire even more.
Of course, at the time I thought it only to be nothing but a silly little kid's dream.
I mean how was that even going to be possible? As I got older the dream slowly died off and other things became more important. Although, there was still that thought in the back of my head of what it would be like to be something you had always dreamed about.
It wasn't until many years later that the town in which I live was hosting a Civil War reenactment, it was there the wife and I would meet who is now one of my dearest friends, David Wolfe.
He was playing a Civil War reporter who's excellent performance caught my attention, along with his period correct attire. I thought to myself, "This guy looks really cool." He wore the black hat, fancy gold vest and the long, Wyatt Earp, frock coat and was packing a Navy colt revolver! He had the look, no doubt about it and there my dream was ressurected. Of course, I had to introduce myself to him. To make a long story short he loved the idea
and shared the same dream.
To begin with we started with only seven members, our first show was in
New Amsterdam IN, a small river town with wonderful folks who, as we, loved the West!
It was there at New Amsterdam we then became known as Six Guns Entertainment.
I thank God for giving me this dream and for bringing all these wonderful friends into my life and for this He gets all the glory and praise!
Now in its sixth year, Six Guns Entertainment is growing continually in membership and performs numerous shows a year.
In addition Six Guns members have been continual guests on WMMG, a local radio station; as well as appearing in documentaries.
With the dedicated members Six Guns has now; we strive only to improve each year!
